The MessageI'm an admirer of the spectacular imagery in David Lean films (Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago). I love movie soundtrack music with memorable themes and leitmotifs (short themes for specific characters). I used to collect movie soundtrack albums. I wanted to write a script that purposely includes big, beautiful scenic views and wonderful music. I grow tired of modern action films that have wall-to-wall action with pounding beats and little room for full, beautiful theme music. I was a huge fan of John Barry, Jerry Goldsmith and Ennio Morricone. I chose to focus on a big story set in Hawaii with a scientist searching for communication from space. When he and his friends find musical notes from the arrival of a meteorite a battle develops over whether the message is from God or some aliens opposing nuclear weapons and demanding global government. Tensions rise as spaceships appear broadcasting the same musical message. With this project I sought offer a euphoric conclusion with astounding beauty and music.

An American DreamAre you tired of woke culture and one-sided movie production. Would you like something more fun than another documentary? An American Dream would be a great movie for theaters (if it could get in them), but it would even be a great project for someone like The Daily Wire that wants to earn some respect (and subscribers) as a movie entertainment provider. I purposely made it something that could be made for a low to modest budget. It's a musical comedy about an elderly folk singer famous for an anti-war song whose tour of Ivy League colleges gets canceled because on an interview he said, "I believe there's only one race, human." His friends talk him into running for president and almost as a joke he does. He goes from primary state to primary state singing new anti-woke folk songs. He drives the media and his professional politician opponents insane because they more they try to ruin him the more votes he gets in primaries. He's nearly ruined by a trumped up scandal but, of course, then comes the delightful climax. There are some wonderful patriotic songs toward the end as he comes under pressure. This is just a fun story. You can read the synopsis and even hear the lyrics offered in humble fashion here. Check it out and see if you'd like to see the movie made.

One Day PassHave you ever wondered what heaven on earth would look like? This is your change. One Day Pass opens with a North Korean persecutor arresting a group of Christian, including an elderly grandmother. An angel interrupts, frees the captives and offers the thug a one day pass to where he will find thousands of Korean Christian all at once, but he has to bring his wife and son. With some humor involved the pass winds up being to a one day visit to heaven on earth Korean style. Of course, the family finds the experience far better than any imagined "socialist workers paradise." While enjoying the experience they dread the one day being over. When the day does end they come back the hunted rather than the hunter. This is an Apostle Paul type story where the hunter gets flattened by God and transforms in a leader of the hunted. While there is some humor, there is much suspense and a glorious opportunity for some talented filmmaker to portray heaven on earth complete with astounding technology and amazing beauty. It would be fun to the the composer for this movie.

PollyWould you like a fun family adventure movie with a grandmother/grandaughter relationship to remember for the ages. This would be a Disney movie I'd make if I was Disney's CEO. It feature an obnoxious, selfish girl named Penelope who nags her parents for a talking robot doll called a Yarbo. She misbehaves so badly her well-to-do parents promise never to give her a Yarbo. Her grandmother gives he a remarkable talking doll with manners named Polly. Polly has such a wonderful impact on Penelope's behavior her school wants to know what her parents did. Polly is a big secret, but when a friend named Sam comes over with his new very sassy Yarbo, Polly comes out of her closet to correct him. Polly and Yarbo become friends. But Yarbo is monitored by the toy company that made him and they come steal Polly. The family, friend and Yarbo must come to the rescue. As the ad says, "If God made a doll it would be Polly." Polly learned her manners and morals from Penelope's grandmother, who gets to come back into the movie for the climax. I'd love to see Julie Andrews in that role. I can imagine lots of grandparents wanting to take grandchildren to this movie.
